Moor Monkton Computer Club

We used to meet on Tuesdays from 7 'till about 10 pm, when villagers of all ages (8 to 80) would come along for upwards of half an hour to learn skills, exchange ideas, prepare documents, 'Surf the net' or even play games.

However, as more and more villagers became proficient in computer use, most households invested in the technology and the work of the Computer Club was done.

We still have 5 relatively modern computers, printers, a scanner, an Ethernet based network (and a very efficient burglar alarm!) and the equipment is still in frequent use to host multi-user gaming sessions.

Check out the link to our photos taken when the club was in full flow.
